  1. I do remember that setup. And that pic. Looking at the illustration I don't see anything beyond what you surely have, meaning the vent line going into the charcoal canister. So I'm baffled.
  2. Bummer. Then one of the free photo editing apps might be the ticket.
  3. Yes, the "U" is for the Bronco. Dunno about the neck. Don't see anything specific to the 460, but maybe I'm missing something?
  4. Can't wait for the results! On the pics, I've been told that holding the phone in landscape mode works w/o editing, but I haven't tried it.
  5. Don't think so. The manual shows this wiring diagram and everything has to be wired into their control box.
  6. Ok, let's start this over. I WAS WRONG! I was looking for E2SZ 7F322-A and should have been looking for E2SZ 7F332-A. But, now that I've found 7F332 I see that E2SZ 7F332-A is not for our trucks. In fact, it isn't for a truck as the prefix should be either E1TZ or E4TZ. I'd have to go back into the other files to find out what line of cars "S" is for, but it ain't our trucks.
  7. You are sooooo close! Gonna finish it this weekend? And the welding looks great. On the pics, open them in a photo editing app, which will usually re-orient them, and then save them. That saves the re-oriented version. But if you can save-as and make the file less than 1 Mb you don't have to use any of the "resizing" options and the pic will be bigger on our screens.
  8. No, we don't have much surf in Okiehoma, so I wasn't doing that. As for LMC's harness, I've not heard anything bad about it other than that it takes an uncommon relay. But I wouldn't be afraid of it.
  9. I built mine to use the sealed Bosch relays. Never have had a problem.
  10. The one in Big Blue's front tank is aftermarket, and only a couple of years old when I got it. But even then it didn't work. Will show Full, then after 100 miles or so of going down as it should it usually goes back to Full.
  11. Yes, E7UZ 9030-B is for 80/86 F250/350 - - 8 cyl, 460. (Notice that the MPC implies there was a 460 in years when there wasn't one.) And I suspect Bill's right - the heat does cause the front tank to build up pressure.
  12. Scott - I hope that possum was dead. Those things can cause all sorts of infections if they scratch or bite you. Interesting about the mirrors. But no one will ever notice. And, they are pretty! But I'm not sure what the others are. Haven't seen them before.
  13. That's a neat show, Cory! I love car/truck shows. In fact, I heard a rumor that there will also be a car show here the same day as our truck show.
  14. I'm wondering if the gas in the tank got hot and pressurized the carb and pushed fuel into the intake, pretty much as you were saying, Rick. Is there supposed to be a check valve in the system to prevent that?
  15. Yes, with carbs that's true. But, with an EEC-V system, it'll figure it out itself.
  16. I wonder if the LMC's still use the obscure relays? I doubt the relays will fail, but glad you have spares. And, I agree with you on the light output. Big difference.

Glad you got it going, Eric. And, it apparently didn't cost much. Well done!
  18. The #'s on the box for the register can't be read, so I can't say what it fits. But the switch is for: 83 E— F—U100/350 - - A/C-(dealer installed) 83/E150/250 — A/C dealer installed In other words, for F-Series & Broncos only 1983 models with dealer-installed air.
  19. Catalog says EOTZ 7336-A fits 80/87 F100/350 w/a 3-speed tranny. And it is a SLEEVE (TRANSMISSION LOW and REVERSE LEVER TO HIGH and INTERMEDIATE LEVER).
  20. I think that's about what I paid for mine. Haven't used it, but do plan to do. Pretty cool.
  21. I don't find E2SZ 7F322-A in the catalog. In fact, I don't even find 7F322-A in the catalog. Last, not even 7F322. So I do not know what this fits, but either the listing has the wrong # or it isn't for our trucks.
  22. Not for us. Fits 85 R — w/midship tank - gas 86/87 R — w/midship tank - gas except SuperCab
  23. Jonathan - I'm confident I'll like it. And, I'm sure Blacktop will as well when he gets his hydroboost installation done. Hopefully that will be soon and we'll get a report on it. He's well ahead of me as I fight the RSK battles.
