Ok. Thanks for the update.

Update: I am going to need rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. That's scheduled for December 18, 2024. I am trying to get as much done on my truck before then (but it still won't be finished). Rehab is 9+ months. So, I will do my best to decide on my course of action, on the interior, before Xmas.

Bob - Welcome! However, this isn't the place for posting that you are looking for a tailgate. This is for introductions. There's nothing that says you cannot announce that you are looking for a tailgate in the New Members Start Here folder. But not everyone monitors this folder so the audience is limited. Instead, please tell us about yourself and your truck. Like, where's home? We have a map and can add you if you know the city/state or zip/postal code. And for maximum visibility go post in Home/Marketplace Want To Buy and start a thread there about your tailgate.

Hi Bob. This section of the forum is for introductions. Please create a new thread here that introduces yourself (and truck). Once that is done, your tailgate request can be moved to the Marketplace sub forum. Thanks and welcome!

Scotty definitely knows his stuff. I wish I could have one of his stroker builds....

Some of us have engines, or parts thereof, from Scotty The Mad Porter at Parkland Auto Machine. Saw this on Facebook and thought I'd share it. The engine in Big Blue has a short block built by Scotty. And oddly enough, the heads were done by Eric Weingartner, who has also competed in the Engine Masters, as discussed here in Motor Trend.

You are now on the map. As for the racing Cortinas, I've seen a lot of video showing them to be very competitive.

Is there a "Cancel" button we could put beside the "Submit Reply"? Or, what's the best way to get out of a replying process, just "Go to topic listing"? -

I'm glad to see that you can choose a page but I still wish posts were numbered within threads. It was very frustrating to search a term on the old forum and have to row through 537 chronological hits -a dozen at a time- to find the post you wanted from earlier in the week -
All these trucks have a wider track in the front. You can look in the body builders handbook and check exactly what the difference is. I don't have that number in my head but I know it is so the front wheels can steer without rubbing the front leaf springs.

Hey Gazza, I got the motor off a guy who built it up for a Ford Cortina race car, it's a 4.1L with a solid cam and roller rockers. I'm in the port town of Fremantle near Perth Western Australia Not yet BigBro ð I have seen the whisky dispenser put in a glove box and powered by a window washer motor, next mod... I think it was 930kgs 15 kegs of beer for the build crew of a burning man festival I started here in WA Yeah she is awesome, great torque, good for 4x4ing 50L what ever that is in freedom units so about 62kgs so all up about 930 kgs, just shy of a ton That's like asking someone in San Fran if they have seen a car in West Virginia haha, plenty of awesome cars here in West Oz though, mining $$$ Rugby is an east coast thing here in Oz, this was for a festival I ran, work hard play harder ð

Hello everyone I've been busy for a few minutes, I dig the new format and look forward to seeing how it goes in the future. I've done a bunch to my rig since I logged on last. I got my manual swap finished up all I have to do is cut the hole in my floor to accommodate my bw1356 shifter. While I was there I went ahead an knocked all my surface rust and factory sound deadening and put down some fresh new sound deadening down. I followed the advice and reinforced my firewall where the master cyl mounts and found a nice braided stainless hose for my clutch fluid. More to come soon !

Brian - I made a mistake in the setup as guests are not supposed to be able to post here. That's been fixed now. But if you want to join and be part of our community we'll do our best to answer the question.

I think it looks good, Chris, on both my Windows machine and my iPhone. Thanks! -
What is the difference in wideth between the 85/91 F350 Single Wheel Dana 60 kingpin and the 85/91 Dually F350 Dana 60 ? I bought a Dually Dana 60, converted it to 3/4 ton hubs and it still sits wider then the rear, about 2" on each side. I bought a set of 86 F350 Single Wheel Axles, the Dana 60 Kingpin and the 10.25 Sterling. Am I gonna still run into this problem ?

Nevermind, already saw a problem with trying to dynamically resize things. I'm leaving it alone for now. -

I've updated the HTML one more time for the night. The whitespace pointed out earlier on iPhones should be gone. Basically, the top and bottom of the site/forum should look cleaner. Hoping that's really the case and nothing is broken. -

ok, I may just geek out on trucks but I by no means geek out on tech. this is going to take more to get used to than the first time. I had gotten into a pattern, or some may say a rut. I'm not giving up, but I may struggle for a while. this is not as intuitive as I had hoped. this forum is all I do on a computer besides order parts or doing parts research. -

Maybe use a letter punch and mark each one on it's reverse face? Cause I'm not trusting painting them, they'll certainly scratch and peel easily.
