Spare Tire Carrier Parts

BillyRay59
I'm looking for anything that is highlighted in yellow.  I'm trying to go factory correct.  Any help is appreciated.  PM with pics and prices.

Is 1422 (cross member) used with out a rear tank?
I ask because I don't have that but I do have a rear tank.

And before you ask sorry not for sale. I need to find a 5x5.5 wheel so I can have a spare tire.

Looks like it. Similarly 1497 for the slide style. Both without aft tank.

1422 is a rubber stop used WITHOUT aft axle tank.  It's a cushion between the wheel and the frame.  If you have the aft axle tank, you wouldn't have the rubber stop.

Thanks guys, My flare side has a rear tank and have not seen a non-rear tank setup.

In the shop manual it states that 1422 is used for wheel only. I guess so it would not be metal to metal if you do not have a tire mounted on the rim. It states that on all three of the diagrams that break down the spare tire carrier.

I saw that too Gary and wondered because the Illustration above shows its for the F100/350.  I'll most likely not really worry about having it though.  If there is any metal-to-metal contact, there are other things you can put there in it's place.
