Thank you for asking Gary, but no. I have two sets, one chrome and one with black light housings. I had better let that be good for now 😇

There is a guy in Canada selling covers for Marchal fog lights (Mustang). He's had them for sale for a long time now...I've been seeing the ad for ages.

Do these covers fit the truck lights? Just curious really.

Those may be the reproduction ones that at NOT the same quality as OEM and lack the proper clip function. I don’t know whether they are or are not, but there was an eBay offering that I shared on the Freewheelin FB group and was warned about. Unless they explicitly state OEM/NOS I’d bet they are the same repro’s.

Part of me wants to jump in on the fun but I really have no use for them and would just end up reselling them. Not worth my time.

Ended at an amazing $104.29 plus $20 shipping. Normally just the lights fetch $150 or better... and closer to $350-$450 with the shrouds. Gary are you by chance the lucky winner?

No, I decided not to bid.  I looked and it was over $100 and expected it to go right on up.  But, it didn't.

I have developed a curiosity with these Marchal fog lights. Did anybody ever measure the guards so that they could be replicated locally? Are there aftermarket lights and covers available that look like the originals?

I had a set of the 1980-1984 Marchal fog lights, surrounds, and light switch, but I sold it all without installing them on my truck.  Personally, I just didn't think they looked all that great.  I really wanted to like them, but I didn't.  They are very heavy and chunky.  If they are installed underneath the bumper with the surrounds, they look kind of silly and are prone to severe damage hanging down so low.  If they are installed above the bumper, they are just too large and look totally out of proportion.  I didn't care much for the white Marchal covers with "cats" either.  They look great mounted in the front air dam of a 1982 Mustang GT, but not so much on the bumper of a Bullnose.

E9TZ-15200-A is a Ford fog lamp kit that superseded the Marchal fog lamps, and I personally think these look much better than the Marchals.  (Actually, the first versions of these had an E4 number, which indicates they were originally introduced in 1984.  I would avoid these, as they are made by InterLight and use completely different connectors.) These lights are not as tall as the Marchals but they are wider. Proportionately, these look like they actually belong on a Bullnose. When mounted on top of the bumper, the top of the lights are right inline with the top of the [optional] bumper guards.

The lights in the E9 kit are made by Bosch and use OEM-style Ford connectors, like the Marchal lights.  I also like the fog light covers much better that are included in this kit. They are black (same color and texture texture as the bumper rub strips) with the "FORD" oval made into the cover.

I purchased a set of these a few years ago, but I haven't installed them yet.  Maybe I will someday.

I found a set on Ebay:

I get that. I wouldn't install them below the bumper on a 2wd truck, but I do kinda like them on some 4x4 trucks and Broncos.
