An upholstery kit.
Just like LMC, Raybuck, Dennis Carpenter, Stock Interiors, Seatz, Classic Industries or anyone else does, in order to distinguish it from a 'fitted cover' or a Mexican blanket.

I can't think of anyone that does an off the shelf kit for the Bricknose only 50/50 seats.
I can ask my auto interior guy Jeff tomorrow when he's open.
 Jim,
Lil'Red is a '87 F250 HD, 4.10's, 1356 4x4, Zf-5, 3G, PMGR, Saginaw PS, desmogged with a Holley 80508 and Performer intake.
Too much other stuff to mention.

Thanks Jim. I'll call a couple local shops too.

I'll probably always call it a cover though...I'm stubborn.

Is there a trick to getting the factory side moldings off without destroying them?

What do you all think about the side molding? Should I scrap them, or save them and reinstall. The painter suggested doing pin striping at the color transitions.....like we do on the two tone roof....where the top color transitions to the side color. If I can remove these without destroying them, I'd prefer to make it look factory.

Here are some interior shots. A little dirty. You can see the seat Cover....cough ...upholstery....has seen better days. I'd love to get this same pattern. Not sure if that is possible though.

I missed Jeff today.  😒
Been running around like a nut and yesterday was washed out with rain coming sideways.

Not a problem Jim. I've got time.

This month I am stripping the trim and everything off the truck to save some time and money at the body shop. It'll be there 4 to 6 weeks. He is stripping it down to bare metal, fixing the dings, then base coat clear original colors. Going to look brand new.

Hey Jim, ever heard of these guys? They carry a 50/50 upholstery kit designed for 87-91. Lots of colors. I don't see the factory XLT Lariat patter though.

I requested a few samples of their blue vinyl

I mentioned Seatz in my post above, but didn't see this offering on their site at the time.
Perhaps it's something they do for Raybuck exclusively? I'd have to go back and check.

I don't have a very high opinion of Raybuck body panels, but I have one in my truck because it was available.

Crazy, I totally missed that post above I guess Jim, sorry about that.

Anyway, if the samples match up pretty good, and I cannot find NOS upholstery, I will probably order one soon. Site says 4-6 weeks for delivery. I could have it before the truck gets back from paint.

They don't offer it on their website.
In fact they don't have anything under 'Ford Pickups 1977 & newer'
So it's either exclusive, or they haven't put it into production yet....

Ok. Here are the Raybuck blue swatches.

Front seat

Back seat

Door panel

Dash

I think the 29v is too dark. The 25v is darn close in person. The back seat has become shiny over the years, which will give it a different look I guess.

What do yall think?

Picked up a tailgate and panel today. Any tips on cleaning up the red strip of these scuffs? And the alum has some tar, I'll try alcohol on the tar first. I'll order new "FORD" letters, so they all match.

Tailgate panel looks nice.

Are the trim pieces double sided tape? I peeled the ones on the Bronco off, but they were coming off already.

Didn’t look pretty. Used a roto disc to clean up.

Thanks. Yeah I think Ford did the plastic side molding with tape. I guess I can maybe slowly peel them off, but I'm afraid I'll distorted the plastic, or cause some damage otherwise. I guess I was hoping there was a fancy way to hold my mouth and they'd fall off. Lol
