That is when the 7.3 came out.

U-haul did not screw around when it came to keeping stock to fix their fleet.
It's pretty amazing the depth of parts they obviously kept on hand.

Not just starters, filters, brakes and alternators, but pinions, valves, nuts and bolts...

This is phenomenal!!!

Given that the regular price is around $125 each, I am actually tempted! But I don’t even have a safe place to store 250 of them. And $440 is still a bit of money for something I don’t immediately need... too bad they are not selling lots of 5 or 10 instead. That’s a lot of fan clutches.
SHORT BED 4-DOOR DIESEL: 1986 F350 4x4 under construction-- 7.3 IDIT ZF5+GVOD

STRAIGHT SIX 4X4: 1981 F150 2wd to 4x4-- 300 I6 close ratio diesel T19, hydroboost brakes, Saginaw steering

BIG F: 1995 F-Superduty under construction— converting to 6.9L IDI diesel ZF5+DNE2

335 series throttle cable brackets, and transfer case shift levers come to mind.

It seems like they are on a big purge.
They have quite a few pallets of random parts for $80-100 and $20-40 shipping.

I mean that pallet full of $4 3G alternators is just mindboggling.
They have to be worth more that that in copper and aluminum, right?

There are Bullnose vent window frames, hood latches, door hinges, $50 Saginaws and more this week too.

And you know that most of it is OEM NOS.
The rebuilds are built for U-haul, and not spray painted junk.
They couldn't stay in business, fixing their trucks with crap.

Jonathan, maybe you ought to get a few guys from your 7.3 cadre to go in on a group buy.

If every one of you got 10 of them for $16, the only thing you'd need to do is find someone to break it and use flat rate boxes.
You'd be all in for $37.75.
That's still cheap as dirt.
