Hello All
I was lucky enough to find a 1984 F250 HD 2WD from San Diego with 67k miles on her. Being in Boston, I seldom see older trucks that still have all of their sheet metal intact. 351 engine. I already rebuilt the 2150 2bbl and cleaned out the front tank. It's nice to work on a truck that doesn't have rust training down into my eyes for once. Anyway, she drives very tight and solid, maybe because it is an HD which has the beefed up suspension and sway bars. The hubcaps are original and I have been cleaning them up for paint. Soon I will figure out a signature for future postings. Thanks.
JOE

Welcome! Glad you joined.
Nice truck! Boy, that hubcap sure cleaned up nicely. And having a non-rusted truck is a huge plus. We have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and with your permission we can add you. As for the signature, look in Bullnose Forum/Forum FAQ's for how to do that.

Thanks Gary.
I think my signature will show up now. Sure, on the map I am in Framingham, MA, 01701. I saw a pic of a Blue Flareside on the site, maybe on the test page. That would be my dream truck, a 4X4 with a 300 or a 302. Great looking truck.

Welcome! Really like that paint scheme and pattern. That have the fawn interior? A really, really light tan.
Gary is right - that hubcap turned out incredible.

Thanks very much. I wouldnt want to tell you how much time the hubcaps took but I did wet sand from 220 - 3000, then used a machine. I still need to paint the pattern on. Here is a picture of the seat. It sits like brand new. Because it came from San Diego I will need a dash pad, headliner fabric, and paint for the door panels. Thanks.

Yes, I have. And you are welcome.
Good shot of the certification label. Do you have question?

Welcome to the forum, Starliner!
Nice to see someone else with dogdish hubcaps. I never realized that style were aluminum, and not stainless. Lived in Framingham for a year. That would have been back around the time of Roxbury bussing riots.... '75/76???

Welcome aboard Starliner! Nice job on the hubcaps!
Through my work I visit a plant in Sturbridge MA every now and again just a bit west of you off I90. There are at least 3 of us on here with Blue Flaresides, but if it was a 4x4 then it was probably Ray Cecil or Reamer/Ron. I believe there are some other blue ones, but not regulars afaik.

Nice. But keep looking, you'll find another. And maybe it'll even be a Bullnose.

That’s cool! I don’t remember ever seeing an Aeronose Flareside. Too bad you missed it.

I think I've posted a couple of pictures of my friend Theo's spruce metallic flareside.
He's the one who got the 450's cab. I don't have them on this phone. Maybe I can find them in the cloud. When I get my truck together I have to get over to his place. The flares need some epoxy work and then I'll pull the engine from his expy and drop it in. There's another three trucks that need to make one, and we'll be scrapping. Opportunity there to offer up some Aeronose parts. I'm sure I'll be posting about that.

Hey Mr. Starliner,
Welcome to the neighborhood. As you have already found this to be a treasure of info, you will also find patience and a willingness to instruct the novices (I speak from experience). Great find in your truck & even better job on restoring those caps. Whew, that is some persistence.
Cheers,
