Excellent!

That is great news and more than happy to help.

Should I alter the routing of the pos batt cable to terminal 1, then to starter or leave the pos battery cable directly from batt to starter?
Are you planning to leave the fuse links down on the starter or move them up to 1 on the fmr?

I think for now I will keep it as is if it won’t hurt anything.  I need to get it to an alignment shop and get that taken care of after the lift I just installed.  That way we can enjoy it while I fine tune a few things.  Eventually it’ll be going in for restoration but I’d love to enjoy it for a bit first.  So glad it starts so well now!

I think enjoying it is a good idea.    That's where I am with Big Blue, and it is feeling good.  Yes, I have a lot of things left that need doing, but they are mostly one-day efforts or, as today, several in a day.

So that's my vote - enjoy it.  Restoration can come later, and by then you'll probably know more about what you want the truck restored "to".

Agreed for sure. Get some miles on the bronco before it gets cold.

If you are good with leaving the fuse links there (no functional reason why you can't) then I would leave the other wiring as it is for now also. If you decide to ever move them up to 1 on the fmr that's when I would consider moving the starter live cable to 1 also and put a larger cable going from the battery to 1 in place of the 8/10awg you have there right now. That's also the time I would see about replacing the clamp style battery connector with a solid option. I've just had bad luck with that style but ymmv. Just some stuff to think about.
