I think the lug wrench for the F250's and 350's uses the other slot.

I assume that the second “slot” is just for strength, to hold the lug nut wrench in place.

Up top I can maybe see that but then why the 2nd hole down at the other end?

Because of the larger nuts used on the larger truck would it have a different wrench and be 2 part?

So you guys with 250 / 350 what you have to say on the other part of the lug wrench holder?

The 1 1/16" lug wrench fits the same.

I don't know why it appears there is a big/little thing going on there.
