When I first put gas in the tanks I poured 5 gallons each and I saw the needle move from below empty to the line. I only care where the "empty" is as I don't want to run out even with 2 tanks. I know I can get about 160 miles out of a tank. In winter with 4X4 and leaving it idling to keep the cab warm it drops off some, and above 80 (3,000 rpm) it starts to plummet.
