Behind the seat organizer shelf

I like it. I'd also be interested in photos from the guys that have them regarding how/where they bolt in.

Cory you ask in the wrong area but mine used Velcro to hold it to the back wall.

From what I remembered it held pretty good as it was still in place when I got the truck and that was after it went on it's lid.

Sweet! I like it, might try to fab one from the excess 18 ga steel from my home made Kubota snow cab with heat, lights, wiper.

There is one like that in the local jy. I pulled it but then realized it was a universal unit so left it. I believe I found that it was from JC Whitney. Yours looks in better shape as that one was warped and cracking at the screw holes.

Don't see it on their site now but looks like it's DeeZee manufactured. Part CO-75

Trent says there are four holes on his, and it appears that it was fastened with screws or bolts to the back wall of the cab. He didn’t have more details than that, since he bought his at a flea market. It wasn’t NOS in the typical sense, but the screw holes didn’t have fastener marks so it had never been mounted in a truck. His had the original key which was aluminum like some of the early vehicle keys. He hinted that he might be persuaded to sell it, but my crew cab won’t have room with the special centurion rear seat, and I am undecided about what to do with my 81 on account of the burro damage. He said that access to the center compartment is limited since he has Superduty seats in his truck and they don’t slide. Without moving it forward it is hard to access.

Yep, I think Jim/ArdWrknTrk was going to go by a place that carries those today and get some pics and measurements. Looks like it might be a viable alternative.

Jerry says everyone is driving four door pickups these days and he hasn't sold one of those in a long time.

He gets $100, would sell me for $76, and charges $50 to install.

When I asked how he deals with fastening he said he can rivet them in, but suggests (and prefers) using industrial 'velcro', like you use for EZ-Pass.

Velcro is a portmanteau of velour and crochet, so it's not really velcro, as there is no nap, or hooks.

ETA: Would you believe that the inventor was Swiss and came up with the idea because of the burrs stuck in the coat of his Spaniel when out hunting?
