Gary Lewis Posted October 8, 2018 Author Share Posted October 8, 2018 It started again: https://supermotors.net/getfile/1140986/thumbnail/garysgmbbmenufail.jpg The first page or 2 today loaded normally (the menu appeared, and then rolled up on its own), but since then, it has been doing this (no X to close it - I have to jiggle the scroll wheel) on several pages. Any time I scroll the page up, the menu automatically drops down again. When I scroll down a few lines, the menu rolls up. Steve - That's strange. I've seen some odd things, but not that one. What machine and browser? Still the Win 7/Chrome combo? If so, how about doing a Control - to decrease the zoom slightly? I've had some oddities with different zoom settings and wonder if this is associated with that. In my case decreasing the zoom fixed it - but I have no idea why. Something else VERY MINOR that I've noticed a few times: when I reply with several quotes (like in your bumper thread), I like to expand the reply box down so I can see more of what I'm blathering on about. But the page doesn't actually extend as the box occupies more space - the text of the post I'm replying to just gets pushed OFF THE PAGE. Sometimes, even the Post & Preview buttons get pushed off the page. The main scroll bar (for the page) stays where it is, so I can't scroll down more to see that text or the buttons; they're just gone, until I shrink the reply box back to its standard size. If I refresh any page on your site, it goes forward to the home page of the forum. I still see the reply page I was on & the forum home in my "Back" pulldown, but if I go back, it only loads the forum home every time. (I always browse by reading a thread, posting sometimes, and then using the browser BACK to return to the forum page.) The page size limit happens on EVERY reply page I've tried to enlarge the reply box on. Every time. BTW The top menu weirdness has changed... Right now, it's rolling down like before; but today it has the 3 bars for the menu. If I click them, it rolls down again from the rolled-down menu, giving me all the same menu choices again (but laid out slightly differently) and an X. I found the uses map but for the life of me I could not figure out how to add "my pin" to the map. Anything I found said I needed to make a map then I could add to it? I don't want or need a map I just wanted to add "me" to your map. So for this vary simple person can you spell it out for me?
