  1. Good day folks, I happened to see this on Facebook last night. Looks like they will be ready soon. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=642180619935295&id=149870185833010 I don't really have any other contact info for the guy, but I expect you'll see these parts on Ebay soon. https://www.ebay.com/i/223380119405?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=223380119405&targetid=859095746805&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=1027320&poi&campaignid=6469750777&mkgroupid=90043439478&rlsatarget=pla-859095746805&abcId=1141176&merchantid=6296724&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6fyg3qPc5wIVApSzCh0GcA-zEAQYASABEgJTFfD_BwE&fbclid=IwAR0O1pPFjmf23bBGMqweoUW0vR0BjivuB0hCHdfRqTAL-8FgUGY9-e4MkZ8 Looks like he's in Virginia.
  2. Check out this XLS on FB Marketplace... https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/204553937284437/
  3. I don't think so, no. Somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.
  4. All depends on how early I get out of bed David, and how much coffee I can get in me before 5am;). That determines my level of attention to detail (in the morning).
  5. Haha! That's what I mean, it's "Cute"!... Were they good on fuel at least? I'd like a little "Fuel Fighter" Bullnose with the 3.8 V6, and M5OD trans;).
  6. Lookin' good man. So what happened to the Flareside bed? Scrap other than the fiberglass fenders?
  7. Good luck with the sale. If you decide to part it out, that three on the tree column is worth a few bucks to the right person. Parts for them are very difficult to find, so every now and then there are people looking for them. If it has already been converted to a floor shift, then the shift collar in the column is more than likely broken, but the shifter tube inside the column and various other pats have some value. The V6 is cute. Can't be many of them left these days.
  8. I see the asking price on this truck is down to $6500 bucks....I believe it started up around $9000. Getting into more realistic territory now.
  9. This one is a wild machine....figured you 4x4 guys would like that front end work. https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/sparks-1986-ford-f350-crewcab-dually-4x4/7087316236.html
  10. Truck is listed as a project, but since single wheel 350's don't pop up every day, especially one owners with under 100k on them, I figured it worth the post. I'd have no use for the thing personally, but it looks pretty good. https://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/cto/d/el-cajon-great-project-truck/7085573603.html
  11. Jon, Too little too late, I know, but this AZ E350 would have made a good water hauler? Kinda cool lookin', and nice deck on it too. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/d/flagstaff-1984-ford-f150-f250-f350-e350/7090538677.html
  12. Another slide-out step spotted, this time in Dallas... https://dallas.craigslist.org/mdf/cto/d/fort-worth-1985-ford-f250-clean/7090584564.html
  13. Nice little Bronco here with super low mileage. No idea if the mileage is correct, but judging by the condition of the interior it could be. https://www.autotempest.com/details/vast-3916676320282638140 I've seen a lot of arguments over Bullnose actual mileage lately, so when I say "low mileage", I mean the mileage as advertised. I have no idea what the actual mileage is.
  14. It sure is clean;). Also, it is advertised as being an '86, but has a mechanical clutch and a cover over where the hydraulic master would be. Also...it is obviously a gas engine...but there's no DSII module on the fender apron. What what's in it for ignition;). Oh...and did you see the fender humps inside the bed?...
  15. Now that I think back, I spent a lot of time in 4x4's in Highschool, and several good friend of mine had 4x4 Fords (Well, their father's did anyway...). One a 1986 F150 4x4 302 auto, one a 1985 F150 4x4 with 300 and 4spd, and another a 1987 F150 4x4 with 302 and 4spd. Those poor trucks, basically all still relatively new at the time were tortured beyond belief, and and were driven like sports cars...lol. I wouldn't have the nerve today that I had back then (at 18). Even my old 1980 Flareside...it was a 2wd that I drove like a Mustang at the time, and now after pouring thousands into making my 1984 "better", the steering and handling still scares me above certain speeds...lol. Funny what age does...(I mean to me, not the trucks)
  16. Oh...and since you mentioned steering... I can't wait for somebody to fabricate a rack and pinion steering kit. I'd be on that like white on rice.
  17. I've seen lots of CV swaps on 2wd trucks, but the front end swaps on the 4x4's always seems to be SAS, which probably makes them handle even worse...lol.
  18. And even then, it was only early 1985 wasn't it? I thought Vinny said at one point that any 302 in a truck with a build date of 02/85 and later was EFI....or mostly all EFI. My M5OD came out of a 1991 F250 with a 302...it was a 2wd truck though, so one of those light duty F250's I guess.
  19. Oh ya, absolutely. Forget replacing/buying it. I just meant that I seem to see an awful lot of trucks with it is all.
  20. I dunno Gary, I'm probably going to go against the grain here a bit, but that trim doesn't seem to be all that rare to me. I'm certainly no expert, but I find it does stand out, and it seems like there's a couple trucks posted every day in the Facebook groups with this trim. I'm sure it was rare compared to how many trucks were built overall, but of the Bullnoses left on the road today, there seems to be quite a few with it. I do notice a lot more 85's and 86's being sold/purchased these days though...and maybe it's just because in the grand scheme of things, they're showing up in chronological order?...I dunno.
  21. This one sold for $11,600. Obviously it is not a real Free Wheelin' truck, but it's still a nice truck just the same. I dig it the way it is. I'm so used to see sellers asking such high prices for things like this that they often stay on Ebay for months (and years even).
  22. I remember seeing that myself and wondering what was up, but check them anyway. I think they are just dead holes.
