  1. All that info and nothing about oil, maybe it doesn’t have any.
  2. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/gold-hill-1985-150-4x4/7453140731.html Needs some work, kind of high IMHO.
  3. If I remember, you should be able to find a compressor with R134 oil for your truck. I thought I saw options for both oils. I would consider replacing the receiver/dryer because your going to open the system to replace the compressor. It’s my understanding that when they’re used, then opened, they absorb moisture.
  4. That is a good point, yes it would. I did not think of that. I got all the stuff from a '95 with a 351w and the E4OD, so the front driveshaft I got was already the correct length. It would probably be cheaper to source a used front shaft from a later truck, than to have an earlier trucks front shaft lengthened. Ok, I like the idea of getting a front driveshaft and rear for that matter. Would be nice to find a donor truck like you did. Get the crossmember and all. If there was one thing I did to my truck, it would be the E4OD. Even though I like my C6 a lot for it’s brute toughness, glug, glug ,glug on the gasoline!
  5. The front driveshaft would have to be lengthened correct Pete?
  6. I like those wheels too, and I agree, pretty pricey. I think they’d look good on my Bronco, but too much for me, and I’m sure my offer would be turned down.
  7. Wow! That’s a treasure trove to me. Nice score!
  8. Nice! “Past you” will get over it. My friend had a Mazda 626 that he really liked. My son had a Mazda 626 also. He called it Stitch! Some of you might get it! I ended up with that car for awhile, I liked it. It was a manual, ended up being my daughters. Taught her to drive a clutch in that car. After a week or so she burned the clutch up. Wasn’t the best looking but fun to drive and pretty easy to work on. I agree with Gary, engineered well.
  9. Nice! Looking good. I like the tie downs also, I think my rear ones mount to the trailer hitch. And like I said, I haven’t used them with a camper but have used them several times to tie down loads. I ordered that solder connection kit also, went back and looked at it and thought for that price gotta get it.
  10. This would be not running like you left lights on? Dave ---- Yes, but now I want to try it running. Maybe tomorrow.
  11. That looks like a nice kit, I’m saving it for future pondering!
  12. There were some instances where I used those on corporate type aircraft. IIRC, it was changing incandescent Nav lights in the wings over to LEDs. They were in the kit sent by the manufacturer. Stuck the wires in and hit it with a heat gun. Usually we used these, this shows how they work. Very strong crimp. You can find some knock offs on amazon and ebay, they are around $200-300. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-021-97498-8
  13. Looks nice! Says 81000 on the odometer, but I wonder. Also says zero rust, but I see places that look rusty too me, like the hitch. But, I haven’t lived in the rust belt for a long time. Jeez, I’m pessimistic!
  14. When I went to the Torklift website and put in the info for my truck it asked if it had running boards that go under the truck. I went to the website after I posted the pictures because there was no way to interfere with the cables with my installation.
  15. I went to the Torklift website, nothing like what I have. Maybe a different company made them. But I don’t know of any others. I assumed these were early Torklifts, and may be, but I’m not sure now. https://www.torklift.com/findyourfit-results?vid=90&rboards=no&hitch=r_standard&chosen_year=1986&chosen_make=1&chosen_model=2#front
