  1. I agree with what was said. I recently grabbed my Hi-Lift on a cross country journey towing a cargo trailer in case I got a flat on the trailer. Beefy jack stands, make for better comfort while you're under the vehicle. I have two of these and really like them, I would use them on the front of the 86 I had, because the pumpkin isn't centered, then use a floor jack and heavy duty jack stands in the rear. https://www.powerbuilt.com/products/3-ton-all-in-one-jackstand-bottle-jack
  2. Rene, those same door panels on my 92 Bronco are the noisiest panels I have ever seen. The passenger side was so bad on a trip I stuffed rolled up napkins in it to quiet it down. When I got home I pulled that panel and could see where it was rubbing, white dust on the door. I trimmed that panel a lot. I used shears in a couple of spots it was so bad, then a Dremel tool. It took putting the panel on and off a lot to check the trimming I did.
  3. I used to get all the tools that needed it calibrated where I used to work. Surprising to me the torque wrenches from Snap On, Mac, Craftsman and some Chineseium (if we had one we used on the aircraft, our boss would let us calibrate them), all were in tolerance. I think you would be good with one from Princess. I'm like Gary, I use them on things like head bolts and such, and like to use them on wheel nuts.
  4. Yes, very nice truck, especially for the miles. I think the price is a bit high for the mileage, but they'll probably get it.
  5. My first thought was its there because it is a diesel. I thought the vacuum pump on the 7.3 IDI I used to own was lacking.
  6. Looks nice from here! Red interior and 302 are downers for me.
  7. I'll add that these vacuum testers cost more but are worth it to me. The Mity Vac brand, https://www.harborfreight.com/mityvac-vacuum-pump-39522.html
  8. Very nice! No wonder he loves it!
  9. Thanks Gary! Thanks AmericanSavage, often forget about that.
  10. Well, disregard. Seems to be working now. Strange!
  11. Something is weird! I see a new post, as in New Members Start Here, but when I click on the folder I don't see the new post. I have to click on the blue date on the right to go to it. I'm on a laptop using Google Chrome.
  12. I used a standard puller like this, https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/BK_7763906?cid=paidsearch_shopping_dcoe_google&campaign=GSC-Tools-Equipment&campaign_id=8553470562&adgroup_id=107047174069&adtype=pla_with_promotion&gclid=Cj0KCQjwnMWkBhDLARIsAHBOftpy2dMnALvbqaLRTg0N1epq8DnyOEi0CFN07_5BoKF1pri-sfWpzkMaAh8GEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds& Once I got it off I could push it back on with the roll pin by hand.
