  1. $15k may seem like a lot, but man if you wanted a clean and original stock Bullnose you'd have a hard time finding a better one for less money. I must come up with a name for my Arizona Envy...lol. "But it's a dry heat" envy?
  2. I always assumed that super cabs had bucket seats. Easier to get in and out.
  3. I'm not an authority on that, but I would doubt it. No. Ok, I must go do some reading on the topic. I know the Mustang 5.0 GT engines got roller cams in 1985, and I thought at the same time the trucks got the roller cam capable block, but still used the flat tappet cam until into the early 1990's. It's not a big deal, I'm just curious. I'll have the intake off it in a week or so and will know for sure. Understood on the auto to manual starter differences. While on the topic of starters, I'm planning a run to the junkyard to scavenge some parts from a 1996 F150 w/300 L6 and M5OD manual trans. I assume the starter from that truck will work on the 1985 302? I can't remember, was there still a fender mounted starter solenoid in 1996? My 1992 Bronco has a PMGR starter on it.
  4. Nice, appears to be used but not abused.
  5. Oh, ok. I didn't think of the years. Went back and looked and noticed it didn't have dually wheels on front.
  6. Good question. Is that because of the front wheels that are on it, or something else?
  7. Yeah, I was the same on the Mickey Thompsons. They're OK, but they're weren't my first choice. When I was looking around, I was finding quite a few pics of trucks with the Cooper Cobras, and I liked the letters, and the tread pattern. Like this one below... I have no complaints at all. I've put a little over 3000 miles on them, and they're wearing perfectly even. I was lucky in the sense that they 275/60's just happen to be the exact same OD as the 215/75/15 stock tires that were on my truck, so my speedo is still bang on. I like the style you guys are using. Both are very nice trucks. I'm glad I can see those Cragars on your flareside. Been thinking of going with Cragar 365 V-5's on my Bronco next time I need tires, and the budget hasn't taken the usual hits! Those Cragars are a good choice too I think. It's funny, one of the younger guys at the tire shop I use said, and raised white letters in right? I said no, I want them out. He smiles and says no one does that anymore. I said I do. We both watched them pull our Suburban up when they were done, and he says, man those look good!

  9. Well, I could read lots into that. Like, maybe I don't think. Or, what is a Foxit? More likely, what is "deskew" and "OCR"? So, I'll assume the latter and 'splain. I have a piece of software, Foxit, that I use to manage all of the documents we enjoy. A couple of days ago I discovered that it will operate my scanner, which has a document feeder. So I can load a document of up to probably 50 sheets of paper, hit GO, and go away while it works. When it scans the pages in they are actually pictures of words, not words. So I told it to "optically character recognize" (OCR) the pages, which creates words from the pictures of words. That means you can actually search the document. Also, "deskew" means it will straighten the page after it is scanned in. And that's been a huge problem for me for years as the results I've gotten by hand-loading pages on the scanner's glass haven't been good. Does it work? ABSOLUTELY! I've even loaded the pages backwards and it rotates them and straightens them. Nope, you definitely think. You're talking a language I don't understand is all. Very cool stuff you're doing. I appreciate and applaud your efforts!
  10. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/medford-1985-ford-150/6804833911.html This looks pretty good as well.
  11. https://klamath.craigslist.org/cto/d/klamath-falls-you-wont-find-one-like/6804718030.html Interesting, I have not seen this around town. Pretty sure I'd notice it. Looks nice.
  12. Hey Ferdinand, Not sure if this is any help with your design or not, but here is what I'm running for Magnaflows on my 1984 short wheel base. (How much shorter is the Bronco, anyway?). Note: I'm running a 302, and my duals are 2.25" all the way through. https://www.magnaflow.com/products?partNumber=11235 The same muffler but for 2.5" pipe would be the Magnaflow 11236. I'm running BBK shorty headers, so up front the duals were run pretty much in the stock location as the stock Y-pipe. Mufflers were mounted vertically with the offset bottom inlet and offset top outlet. Stock hangers were re-used. My exhaust was installed with the spare tire mounted under the frame in the stock location, so the pipes had to leave enough room for me to not lose that mounting. I was trying to follow Lariat85's truck as a basic template for my tailpipe exits. I wanted the angled tailpipe sticking out behind each rear wheel, but short and tight to the body. Just like in the picture of his truck below (which I printed and took to the Muffler shop with me...lol...thanks Lariat85!). Mine is a Flareside of course, so the exists aren't quite identical as his, but his tailpipes very clean and tidy looking in my opinion. Note: I'm running a 302, and my duals are 2.25" all the way through. I believe it's 117" compared to 104.7". That's the first thing I wondered when I started driving my Bronco. They are a bit "squirrely" IMO. Edit: Rembrant, your exhaust looks good!

  14. After looking at mine today, it seems these don't have pockets. My truck has pockets on the front half.
  15. That's interesting. They look different than the ones in my 1986. Mine don't have that split in the middle.
  16. My knob was stripped out and would move or come off in your hand. I put one of these on, in black. Had to smooth out the holes for the set screws. https://core-shifters.com/products/transfer-case-shift-knob-for-1982-2016-ford-trucks-np208-bw1356-np271
  17. Flagged for removal. Perhaps the jokes on me!
