  1. Your camera? Seriously though, the jacks/stands look good. May have to have a pair of those some day. Ha! I really like those jack/stands. Made it much easier, even in the cold! The front was on those for two days, left some imprints in the driveway!
  2. Just found this out last week also Bought a couple sets for my truck without doing much research only to find out neither set fits either front or back of a 4wd 250. Either wrong threads or too short to fully seat. If anyone does find some that work for that application, please let us know. I’m holding on to mine because I also researched and they should fit my Bronco. We’ll see! One counterman said he could get some at $19.99 a piece. I said no and I’m doubtful. May have to go back and see what part number and from who. I thought Dormans might work, but not long enough. NAPA doesn’t list any on their website so that may say a lot.
  3. Oh, new jacks under the rear. Not going to try to get the picture straight!
  4. Brakes! Tire shop told me the front brakes weren’t wearing even when they rotated my tires. Pistons were bound up in the calipers, so I went with remans. Tried bleeding with my Mityvac and had no luck. Fortunately my wife was willing to help, so got them bled. Moved to the rear and they’re not too bad. Thought I would bleed them also to get some fresh fluid in there. Tried the bleed screw first and I’m convinced they would snap off. So, didn’t bleed the rear. I did lube up the adjuster and brought the shoes out a bit. That will be a summer job. This one or next. New shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders. Very nice though! Always thought I had to push a little too hard on the pedal. First couple of stops I was about ten feet from the stop sign! Stopping good and a nice easy feel to the pedal. That catches me up on things I wanted to do. So must be time for something to break!
  5. That is a bummer! I’m replacing the calipers on my truck now. Decided to pay more at the NAPA here, one reason is return shipping. The other is I like having parts stores here and try to buy local. After it’s all said and done it’s not that much more. They give a veterans discount or AAA, so that helps. Then I put the left caliper on and start on the right. I have two lefts. It was misboxed. Bit of a setback, but no shipping on my part. Also found out it’s hard to get speed bleeders for these calipers. If you can get them.
  6. That’s good to know. I put boards under them for good measure. Have parts coming in tomorrow, when I get the front brakes done I’ll try them on the rear.
  7. That’s great! Man, a lift would be nice! So far I really like them, made jacking up the front easy. Had to drive onto some 2x8 wood boards to get them under. But that is something I usually did anyway.
  8. On in the winter, off in the summer? I had a topper, now a Weatherguard toolbox.
  9. Welcome! Bob’s Country Bunker, I believe it was in the movie, was “in” my hometown of Kokomo Indiana. “We have both kinds of music here, country and western!“

Thanks Jim. Yes, the frame and axles were definitely the biggest task so far. I'm pretty sick(probably actually too) of applying Chassis Saver by hand with little sponge brushes. The Rancho's are the RS5000 range. Only got them as I needed something to go with the leveling coils(1.5" lift). They fit the bill and were reasonably priced. Can't find them on Rockauto anymore, but that's where I got them. As it turns out, they aren't perfect, with the thicker tube at the bottom, they are awfully close to the coils. I'll know when I get the truck on the road if it's workable or not... Looks great! Nice job!
  11. Yes, I see what your saying. My truck has a definite rake to it.
  12. Well, there you go! I thought the hydro clutch was post 1986 for some reason. Mine isn’t level either. My 94 was but the PO had the extra leaf put in. Rode great!
  13. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/central-point-ford-f250/7074993196.html Should be a 3.54 limited slip unless they changed it. Wow, a T19 with 4.30, must be a screamer! I skeptical on the mileage. I think a bit pricy for what it is. Hydraulic clutch? Dealer air? Edit: Add comments.
  14. Good point about the California trucks. Northern Californians are advertising them in Southern Oregon because of the emissions.
