  1. That’s great! Love the “custom” cherry bomb! Edit: spelling correction.
  2. I saw those lights on Amazon. Waiting for a report!
  3. I tried RTV, I didn’t have any luck with it. Maybe I didn’t use enough. Maybe the angle and the way I shifted, but it came off pretty quick. Hope it works for you.
  4. Further down it mentions the 1345. Edit: Shaun it also says they have matching gear shift knobs!
  5. https://core-shifters.com/collections/tc-knobs/products/transfer-case-shift-knob-for-1982-2016-ford-trucks-np208-bw1356-np271?variant=33072514822 I bought one of these. My original would move around and come off when you shifted. Drove me nuts! It’s held on with a set screw. The only thing I did was clean up the hole for the set screw, you could feel it when you grabbed the knob. I like it!
  6. I used to volunteer to drive veterans to the VA facility in White City. We used an AWD Flex. I really liked that car. If you drove like you should on packed snow and ice that thing would rarely slip. Only “problem” I had was it was hard for older or crippled up vets to get in and out of the third seat. I believe it was a 2011.
  7. Does look good. I’m surprised that a diesel didn’t come with a tach.
  8. Jim, I've seen A LOT of 1980-1996 Crossmembers like that, with the cab mounts poking through the hole. I was very fortunate that these ones were all still intact, albeit a little thin. At least they were worth patching, and I think now plenty strong. Welding overhead ugh... Been admitted to the burn unit lately??...lol. I did a lot of welding when I was younger, and did a lot of overhead welding with 6011 rods...I remember having burns all over my head and neck...lol. UNFUN. PS: I'm really loving the needle scaler. I've been using it steadily on all of these parts. Good job! Quite the project!

  10. The IR thermometer is a good idea. I had a 1987 4Runner that would get very warm climbing through the mountains. Especially with the A/C on. Checked everything and it ended up being the radiator. Ran right on temp. after that. Edit: Added an aftermarket gauge also, did that on my bull too.
  11. I bet that country music sounds good coming out of there!
  12. You could drill the head just a bit before hitting it with the air chisel, it’ll relieve that area too.
  13. That link says it’s for Chevys and GMs. The pins don’t look right to me.
  14. You must have added a photo of the wrong Bronco then That one looks like a great find. Really like that color combo. Welcome! That’s it’s good side and from far enough away that it looks good. It’s been on a farm since 1996 so everything is in disrepair but it’s all original and not messed with. It was a great find for sure but it’s not even close to roadworthy. Welcome!
