  1. Cool! Let us know if it helps MPG. I assume you’re looking to help that.
  2. Very similar truck. https://medford.craigslist.org/cto/d/medford-beautiful-78-ford-250/7284874749.html
  3. Not that old, but previous injuries have taken their toll. I should not have lived through one of the car wrecks I was in. I’ll be 60 soon. That’s great that your father did that. I did the head gaskets on the Xterra I now own about four years ago. That V6 in there is like the old saying of 10 pounds of manure in a 5 pound bag.
  4. An 88 F250 with the 7.3 diesel I used to own was at one point a wild land firefighting rig. A private contractor. I wish I had a picture of the unused wiring I removed from that truck. I was able to clean up, repair and use the existing wiring. At a later point I went through the glow plug system and got it functioning correctly. I’m not certain that the 6.9 and 7.3 glow plug systems are the same. I would suggest before replacing harnesses, that perhaps you could straighten up what you have.
  5. I’m impressed with what you did Bill. Thats is cool. I really like how you’re manipulating that E4OD! I can’t or won’t justify putting an EFI on my truck. I sure would like it. The truck is the only carbed vehicle I own. I won’t put an E4OD in either. Maybe if I was younger and could crawl all around these trucks, or have a big shop with a lift. And of course, enough money to do it or have it done. I’ll keep driving it as is, it’s really running good!
  6. Seem very responsive, my friend has called and talked to them.
  7. A friend at church was telling me about these guys. Probably heard of them, but thought I’d put this here anyway. https://460efiguys.com/

    Fixing Eddie

Interesting on the dash. Someone else recently posted pictures with the same break.
  9. I made cables for my 88 7.3. I soldered them with a butane torch and used heat shrink.
  10. Good! Mine actually gets in the way when I’m trying to put the spring clip in also.
  11. Nice! Looks good without the ball on there. Is the 7 way connector going to be in the way when putting the hitch pin in? I have a note to move mine on my Bronco because of that.
  12. I bet this is hard to find new. Kind of pricey. Found mine at our pick and pull.
  13. I have good results with Bruce’s GSR. Also with this clay bar simulator, I guess you’d call it. https://mothers.com/products/speed-clay-2-17240
  14. My brakes weren’t what I thought they should be and heard others say that of their bullnoses. But found out my front calipers weren’t moving much, if at all. Replaced them and adjusted the rears and cleaned and lubed the auto adjusters. Huge improvement. Stops really good. And I’ve had it loaded and pulled a loaded trailer at the same time with no problems. I didn’t go real fast, but I could tell they were good.
  15. Those are cool tools to have! I forgot, a German aircraft too.
