Gary, you know my technical capabilities limitations... but if you go to the top of the page and click on where it says "Threaded", it will change the formatting, I believe.

I believe I remember people looking for this part... https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/YfkAAOSwpgNZjG0p/s-l1600.jpg https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-FORD-1980-TRUCK-HEATER-CONTROL-CABLE-/282605957761?epid=2169394862&hash=item41cca0b281:g:kfsAAOSw~I5ZjG2t&vxp=mtr The seller has attached a tag with the incorrect information: EOTZ 18852-A. On the original wrapper, it appears to be: EOTZ 18552-A.

WHYDTYTT: What Have You Done To Your Truck Today?

I had a 1969 500 triple Kawasaki... quick, but a very poor handler. Brakes were lacking [drum front] as well. -

Hmmm... Kawasaki or Suzuki??? And then, on the 4 stroke side... Yamaha, BSA and Triumph. Interesting times!!! -
In my truck [1986 F150], with the guidance of Gary Lewis, the blue filters were removed and the bulbs replaced with Blue LED bulbs. This was done while at the 2016 OK GTG. The instrument needles were also repainted. The change was dramatic. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.ford-trucks.com-vbulletin/1995x1333/80-80_dsc_4732_30614f76ec986c96d46aaadcdcfb4f48eea61a51_cdf28934893922405b2a40371c67adcca3d092b7.jpg My son has a 1984 F150 and he is more of a purist. I removed the blue filters and replaced the 194 bulbs [clear] with 194B [blue] and it looked much brighter than it had been and probably much like it was, originally. The blue filters become opaque and restrict the light. https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/LMA194B?interchange=1 In both cases, we were well pleased. By the way, I removed an instrument cluster from a medium duty truck [same instrument cluster as ours], but the filters are light green and absolutely clear. I showed these to some of the guys who attended the 2017 OK GTG. If you want to try something different, you can have them for free.

Welcome to the forum, Troy!

After reading this thread, I looked at my truck [original 1986 with rubber mat] and it has the aluminum ones. Later, I will have to check my son's truck [original 1984 with rubber mat], but I believe it has the black plastic ones. Gary, 2 or 3 years ago, you acquired a set of aluminum ones from me. Are those the ones you are using for Dad's Truck?

Yes. But, other than sludge, nothing was found in the bottom of the oil pan. Praise the Lord!
