I don't think the interior heaters were all that common either, at least not around here. This particular Bullnose was daily driven by the guy's wife for many years, and he installed the heater for her...maybe she couldn't reach all of the glass to clear off the snow, I dunno. Maybe, he loved her!

Stock hub locks were made by Warn, and those are definitely stock Warns. Only the "LOCK>" label is missing from the center, to cover the screw. I think someone here makes them new... That would be reamer.

I suppose it is all relative. My son served in Bagdad, Iraq in 2007. The daytime temps were in the 120+ range and the soldiers had ~70# of gear.

If you do not feel comfortable checking the advance curve vs. engine speed, try setting the initial timing @ 14 or 15 degrees BTDC. It might be harder to start, but once it does, go for a test drive and see if any different than before [10 degrees BTDC].

Is it possible that the mechanical timing advance is not working properly?
