I don't know yet, but David mentioned above he had his done for $75. I'd get the whole thing done if it was only $200, but I've heard of others around here paying a lot more than that. Cory, the $75 was as previously posted. The same shop would have charged ~$350/400 for a full recover. They had a book containing all the color possibilities and allowed me to select the color. The "welting" [?] was worn on the driver's side as well. This ingenious gentleman was able to cut the existing welting and splice the new piece by inserting a short piece of welding rod in each end [the old & new], for additional strength. This was on my son's truck and the repair is still great several years after!

It sounds like you have done some home work at least on wheel base. I never looked into the rear suspensions on the cars but we are only talking 3 inches could the rear be moved back the 3"? I would say making the frame 3" longer is a lot of work but is another way of going. I take it you have looked over the Youtube videos on older ford trucks and how the CV front suspension was added to the trucks frames, that cant be done easily on ours because of the front frame. Then you have the CV fire wall & floor grafted into the cab of the truck this way you use all the CV dash & HVAC, floor to replace the trucks rusted floor. I would look them all up and see what way you may want to go or even use a little of each one. Just remember it is yours so build it the way YOU WANT IT! Williams S-52, Sparta CS-45, Snap-On SL710. 3/8" drive ratchets: Proto 5249, K-D 721117. 1/4" drive ratchets: S-K 40970, Craftsman V-43185. Extensions: New Britain NB-21 3/8", Wright 3418 3/8", Armstrong S-115P 1/2". Breaker bar: Craftsman 1/2" drive. 6 chrome folding sets of Allen wrenches: ALLEN, Klein Tools, Eklind Tools, Vaco Products. 7 sets of Allen wrenches: Blue Devil, Unbrako, Bondhus, ALLEN USA. The old man who owned these died years ago. His widow recently passed away and the family hired an agency to dispose of everything. Sad!
