I, too, missed the inappropriate bed. I had forwarded the eBay link to a local friend, thinking he would enjoy seeing this. The following is his response: "The later model bed is a turn off for me."

I am likely way off base, but could the engine be running very lean? This condition has a distinctive odor and would explain difficult starts and being low on power.

I know this has been discussed previously and I believe the answer is "yes", but can a fuel tank and sending unit from a 1985 short wheel base Styleside be swapped for a 1984 F150 same as the 1985? I know the tank opening for the sending unit is larger. Thanks in advance!

There is a plastic shroud that covers the column below the steering wheel. Can anyone tell what is difference between the shrouds on the tilt and non tilt column. According to what i am reading here on the site the part numbers are the same except the the dash number on the end. Thanks
