  2. Thanks David, I will do the same thing then as I plan to install a manual choke. Can you recommend a manual choke kit that works well with this carb or should I just order whatever generic kit I can find easily? This is the one I used, Cory: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/dorman-help-choke-conversion-kit-55101/5013275-P
  3. doni10, this link will take you to a thread detailing AbandonedBronco's installation of an aftermarket fuel injection system on a 300/4.9L engine in a Bronco. I think it will give you some ideas. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1557261-holley-sniper-efi-install.html

  9. Ahh ok very good sir. I connected this "unused" port, since going with manual choke, to the port high up on the throttle body, which originally supplied filtered air to the tube which ran through the exhaust manifold and supplied heated air to the choke housing. It was neat and could not be seen while using the original air cleaner.
  10. Not a "donor", but reasonably priced: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-1984-FORD-TRUCK-STEREO/264888406018?hash=item3dac945002:g:Ob4AAOSwW15fe1dh

  12. Years ago, my son had a small car with an aftermarket sun roof, which allowed thermal buildup. I found some static cling window tint, thinking that if it did not work, it could easily be removed. It worked well! https://www.amazon.com/s?k=static+cling+car+tint&hvadid=78615208002094&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&tag=mh0b-20&ref=pd_sl_7ba8fir81o_e

  16. Isn't that the truth! Even with a ratcheting wrench it's a pain. Doesn't it seem that Ford Engineers liked "longer than required" screws and bolts!
  17. Gary, look at the video of the cold start and drive. There is a clear shot of the passenger side kick panel vent and you can compare that to Big Blue, to see what was visible, originally.
