  1. That's the right guy for those 460's with mechanical pumps.
  2. That's a nice bezel. If I knew what I what the interior of Dad's truck to look like I might buy it. But, until I do I'd better pass. Now, if Jonathan perfects the paint or hydrodipping to create XLS bezels we'll have it made.
  3. Steve - That's actually something I'm thinking about for Big Blue. Black windshield trim, headlight, grille, and even door handles. As you said, LOT'S less expensive.
  4. Gary, it is high on my wish list, so I'm certainly going to try. It's a little too early yet to say yay or nay, but we'll know a little better by spring how things are shaking out this year. The distance doesn't bother me at all, it's just a matter of having the time available to go. Excellent! I look forward to meeting you, and hope you get to come.
  5. Yes, Cory, this forum certainly is good for stuff like this. And I've been the recipient more often than not. But, to finish the story, the parts are tucked away until the show in September, or earlier if David/1986F150Six gets the urge to start his project early. Similarly I have parts put back for Jonathan/Ford F834 - assuming he gets to come this year. So, what about you? Are you going to make it this year? I know it is a loooooong way as I was reminded where you live today when adding your neighbor Peter Taker to the member's map. Any parts you need that we can get in here to sweeten the deal? Maybe that's the new definition of "swap meet"? Perhaps I should have held onto Bill's parts so he'd come and get them? (Don't tell me that it is too far to come. After all, Darin/Oz Econoline came from Australia and got cab parts. )
  6. Ron - That's a good looking engine stand. I saved the shots in my Misc file, and I was doing so named them "Rons Engine Stand - 1 & 2" and Windows said "You already have a "Rons Pin With Dimensions". Glad to see it is working well. And, I do vouch for Ron. So feel comfortable dealing with him.
  7. No, that was -40F. (That temp is the one point where the Centigrade and Fahrenheit scales cross. ) But, no matter what scale, THAT IS COLD! And the fact your trucks started is remarkable.
  8. That one looks like it has been WELL used, and then put away wet. Salt wet. It would take a lot of work to get it in shape, but those are nice trucks. My observation is that you need to envision what the end result is going to look like and then spend the money to buy one in that condition, or close thereunto. It will cost less in the long run. So if you want a really nice, fairly stock, driver, buy one like that. But, if you are looking to radically change something then start with one that needs lots of work.
  9. Cool!!! I don't know that I've ever even SEEN a Pantera. I guess I need to get out more.
  10. Peter - You are now on the map. But, just barely as there's precious little land there! Wow. However, you, Cory, and Vinny when he comes up for the summer are close to each other. On the '94, it should be an E4OD - right? That requires a controller, and since you are retaining the EFI you'll be good to go. But there will be a little bit of wiring, and your to-be neighbor Vinny appears to be experienced in that. And, nice Mustang!
  11. According to the MPC, the evaporator kit is a 1980-only kit. It calls for a different part number in '81 and on. But the bezel kit was used for many years. However, note all the other bits and pieces required to use these kits. And, note that it converts a Comfort Vent heater to A/C. It doesn't convert the standard heater to A/C.
  12. But, doesn't that Aeronose look like it's having fun! Yes, they should have painted a smile on the grille. Hmmmm, that reminds me of 'Mater.
  13. Evening! Yep, there's radio wiring info: Electrical/EVTM/1985 EVTM/Radio (Stereo)
  14. Amen, brother! It got down to 19 here this morn, and we thought it was COLD!
  15. I think I like the Bullnose pic better. I've always been afraid of "getting air" as there's the inevitable landing. And in the case of that one it doesn't look like it'll be very soft.
  16. I don't know about it either. I can't read enough of the ID # to tell what it is.
  17. And, just like clockwork you can now do a Google search for "Rear Spring Squeak - Tip Liner And" and the one and only hit you'll get is TSB 80-1-12-S REAR SPRING SQUEAK. So adding the HTML, as ugly as it is, does work. I wonder if I can get Adobe to help me since I'm testing their software.
  18. That's interesting. It shows in the catalog, but I can't find a TSB for it.
  19. You were on fire today! Those aren't bad prices for something you rarely see.
  20. How hard was that to do? I'd never considered doing that.
