  1. Gary, dummy question: If the output amp is someway cranked, could the overall electrical system various protections (fuses and fusible links) become more sensitive and “fragile”, so they can break more easily?
  2. Personally , I didn’t really flash on modern Ford trucks design. Maybe I am too nostalgic about 70-80 era..? But when I saw the new Bronco, I found it very interesting. Nice truck Ron! I really like it, a bit jealous maybe!
  3. :nabble_head-rotfl-57x22_orig:Gary, I didn’t know it was possible to post an animated gif! LOL!
  4. Well, or the calculator is wrong, or the vehicles cost grown much more faster than inflation. Don’t think possible to find a new base truck at that price today:
  5. Hi Slim, welcome in the family (yep, this community acts such as!). I had the chance that Curt had good condition ones to offer. Otherwise, there is one new on eBay (just one and not cheap). E1TZ-6E039-A. https://www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/324684521374 I suppose someone with big budget and patience could find a second new OEM one.
  6. I would say yes. Depending of the film manufacturer, old Color pictures tend to “yellow”, or “blue”, or have saturated reds. Not at my desk to apply a corrective filter, but this one is definitely too red, so the black would tend to maroon. I vote for 83-84.
  7. I love this forum ‘cause we feel free to have fun when discussing mechanical issue! I remember one day in a parking, with Big Brother refusing to start again… with two horses in the trailer. Fast visit to Napa car parts, a new mechanical fuel pump in hands, couple of minutes under the truck, job done. This was the easiest emergency repair I remember I ever done. Since then, I LOVE mechanical fuel pumps.
  8. No matter about the facts, Hollywood decided that, yes, it will. Post Apocalyptic movies often show old Ford trucks still running through the mud and the rubble.
  9. This motor compartment is cleaner than my dinning room!
  10. I made some search over the web, no luck. Although, this product claims to be universal, not sure if this can fit on a Bullnose valves cover… https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Gasket-2053-Twist-Extension/dp/B000CMD58U Seems to not being available on Amazon.com, but I saw it on Amazon.ca and couple of other sellers. Another possibility. Some guys on the other forum said it could probably fit on a 1986 Full size Bronco with a 302, so maybe compatible with a wide number of Ford engines? https://www.holley.com/products/engine/valve_covers/valve_cover_accessories_and_gaskets/parts/C5AZ-6A868-A Holley.com sells couple of different breather caps, not sure which ones fits this extension. «This adapter allows slip-on type oil caps to be used on valve covers with twist-on type oil cap hole.»
  11. Hi, This is a known bug and this is the work-around I found: 1- You have to edit the picture, rotate it (no matter what direction), save it. 2- Re-edit it to rotate in the good orientation and re-save it. It will now post correctly.

  13. OEM not cheap! https://www.ebay.com/itm/283759024003 6$ at Dennis Carpenter: https://www.dennis-carpenter.com/trucks/transmission/clutch/d8tz-7526-b-bushing-clutch-pedal-to-idler
  14. Alright Sir! Helping moving one of my sons this weekend, will modify that when come back home. Stay tuned!
  15. Gary, I totally agree. This 145' covered bridge was built in 1918. The Government signage («restoration work for this heritage bridge») has about a year now. Phase one of works are supposed to begin next winter, to stabilize the bridge. Next phase supposed to be in 2023, in order to restore it. Without pressure of the citizens, pretty sure the Ministry of Transportation would have decided to destroy it.
  16. Gary, two ships in the night… I was sending this diagram. Just curious where we can find yours, mine is very similar but parts referencing numbers are different.
  17. Hi, Are these bushings from the pedals shaft? LMC seems to sell couple of bushings related to the clutch system: https://www.lmctruck.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Pedal
  18. Dane… so… you… no longer… own a Bullnose..?
  19. Not mine. Very solid to the valves cover, I just doesn’t feel any little movement when trying to rotate it. Pretty sure it’s part of the cover itself.
  20. Gary, on my side, no problem and have fun! We can also consider it as a tribute to Gaston Lagaffe. In worst case scenario, if somebody complains about using this cartoon to illustrate your huge library (the two creators passed away 15 and 25 years ago), you’ll simply have to take it out. I can put the text you want (Ford Library, Bullnose Library, F-Series Library, or any other title). Just let me know. I’ll send you a better resolution image.
