Rear Spring source recommendations? 83 F150 4x4 Flareside

Hi Guys. One leaf spring is broken, so I figured that they should be replaced in a set.

LMC is one source, but BeattiesSpring.com looks like they might know more about this stuff.

Example: LMC offers a 4-leaf spring, Beatties has true 4 leaf, as well as 3+1, as well as others. They rate the spring load capacities. They give more specifics.

All together, with bushings, U-bolts, and shipping, I am looking at maybe $650.

Possibly another option could be to repair my existing R.side spring. I think there is a kit. The middle (2) leaves are busted. simcoespring.com offers that. I am still researching on that.
NOPE, scratch that, the vehicles that the kits are for is very limited.

Is there anyone out there with experience with these, or other suppliers?

I live in MA. and would love to avoid paying shipping, but that is unrealistic.

Thanks
JOE

Have you considered going to an actual spring shop?

There are places that work on more than heavy duty trucks, and I know you live near a major city not out on the back of beyond.

I notice there's a place in Allston that has both regular and HD springs for '80-'96 F-150 4x4's listed.

I bought parts from Eaton Detroit Springs and they were very helpful and had what I needed.

For what it's worth I ordered "Husky" springs from RockAuto to put on my 85 F250 in 2017.  I've been pleased with them.

Thanks guys.

I had planned to check a spring repair place in Worcester today.
I will definitely check the Allston shop, as well a Rock A.

Much appreciated.
