Re: Re-wiring 1986 EFI Questions

ReneH
Ok...I will switch back to my wiring...nearly everything is done.

Now I have performed a KOEO test and got some errors:

31
81
82
84
I think these are correct, cause I haven't connected any emissions control circuits. Is there a way to connect resistors or something to simulate the missing components?

But I also get error number 95...is there something miss-wired?

I have connected one of the cables of this connector on the passenger side to the output of the fuel pump relay and the other cable to this connector on the driver's side under the power breaks.

Is this correct? And if it is, does it matter which of the yellow cables going to the relay and which one to the other connector?

I will also check the wiring of my new fuel pump relay...but by switching the key, I hear the pump building up pressure...

Rene' if the fuel pump wires are reversed, it could cause a 95 code, but if the pump works like it is supposed to, I wouldn't worry about that right now.
