That was used from 1980 through 1983.  In '84 they came out with E4TZ 2455-B for the same application, and I don't know what the difference is.

Thanks for the link 1986F150Six !

From the link you posted (Gary original poster)

The E0 pedal has a smaller tube than the E4 pedal.  So you can't put an E0 pedal where an E4 pedal is as the later shaft won't go through the early pedal.  But you could put an E4 pedal where an E0 pedal is with some shimming via bushings.

Here are some dimensions:

                                            I/D      O/D   Width
Part Number    Marked (ID #) Pedal   Shaft  Tube
E0TZ 2455-A  E0TA 2455-FC  .692"  .613"  4.440"
E4TZ 2455-B  E4TA 2455-DA  .850   .773"  4.444"

Do you think the 2 pedals are for linkage & hydro clutch setups?

'83 would have been when the hydro pedals were introduced, not '84, but I don't know why else they made a change.

By looking at the specs posted above (where sizes increased as opposed to decreased), my assumption is that out in the field, they were getting reports of a problem and the engineers attributed it to the fact that the 692"-.613"-4.440" dimensions needed to be beefed up to .850"-.773"-4.444".

Just a guess though.
