New to Bullnose Family....could use all of your help.

Been contemplating the rewiring...am I being a bit too ambitious trying to stick to the Ford wiring colors? Is there a good place to order them? Or just sticking to a variety of colors work okay?

I haven't found any place to get just the right wire colors, but others might have.  In fact, I think Scott/kramttocs may have so I'm going to tag him.

What I've done is to part out several old trucks and have kept the wiring from them.  So when I need a specific color I can usually find it.  However, when I put the EFI on Big Blue I had to extend the wiring to the ECU by 3' and I didn't come close to having that much of the right colors so I used black wire to do that.  You can still see the Ford colors at either end of the black extension though.

I've done the same as Gary - have a tote with various harnesses from these trucks. If replacing existing I used those to keep it looking stock.
For anything else (add-ons) I bought rolls of wires from acdcwireandsupply on ebay.  Very happy with their stuff. Numerous colors: solid and striped.

I don't know that I'd lose much sleep over keeping them stock colors if you don't have easy access to a jy or parts truck you can strip. Once it's taped or put in a loom, you'll never see it

The important part is using different colors as much as possible. Avoid grabbing a roll of red for hot and using that for everything. Makes troubleshooting painful in the future.
