Hello!

86Ford
Hi everyone,

First off, a big thank you to Gary for creating and maintaining such an awesome site. This is an amazing resource for anyone restoring or working on a bullnose Ford. Your hard work is much appreciated.

I have the 1986 F-150 and 1986 F-350 chassis cab--the details are listed in my signature line below. I am hoping to pick up (haha!) another bullnose F-series in the near future and have been looking for a full-size Bronco in my area for a while now.

I first started working on the bullnose and brick nose trucks in the 1990s when I was about 14. I enjoy the fact that they are easy to work on since these models lack a lot of the modern, computerized gadgetry found in newer trucks. I joined this site hoping to learn more and share my experience with others where I can.

Thank you for the site and thanks for having me!

Welcome!  Glad you joined.

You said "in my area", but what is that?  We have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and I'd be happy to add you if I knew the city and state.

And, I picked-up on your pun.  Good one.

Last, I like your sig, but would you mind placing your name there as well?  We like calling people by their given name as it makes it feel so much more personal, but I can't remember what I had for breakfast much less everyone's name, so that would help.

Thank you all for the welcome!

Gary, I am from Durham, Maine. Please feel free to add me to the map!  I also added my name and location to my signature. I agree, first names give a personal touch that can be lost on the web.

Thanks again!

Glad you are here.

You seem to have had the Bullnose bug for quite some time.
Look forward to all you have to offer.

Welcome aboard. My wife and I have made many trips to Freeport just a few miles down the road from you. She likes to go there and power shop for a day, while I either chill in the park and read, or sit in Starbucks and get some work done on the free Wifi. There is a great little B&B style hotel within walking distance where we always try to stay. The old guy there makes killer blueberry pancakes in the morning, and he's a great chat.

We are directly east of you in Nova Scotia but have spent a lot of time touring the backroads of Maine.
