I was looking at this one a few days or weeks ago on Ebay. It sure has a wild looking set of headers on it;).

1994 F150 4x2 Flareside. 5.0 w/MAF, 4R70W, stock.
1984 F150 4X2 Flareside. Mild 302 w/ 5spd. Sold.
1980 F150 4X4 Flareside. 300i6 w/ 5spd. Sold in 2021.
1980 F100 4X2 Flareside. 351w/2bbl w/NP435. Sold in 1995

My money is on clearance for better steering with those big tires.

The welds look a little wild too. But maybe that's just my obsessive tendencies talking.

The headers are fender well headers.
If you look them up for any car / truck they all pretty much look like that for 2" pipes.
The only ones I have not see like that were for a Jeep CJ, they were somewhat normal looking.
