On this veterans day, I just want to thank all the veterans who have fought and died for my freedom. Is just my little way of saying thank you from me and my singing mellotrons.

I was on the Tripoli during that time period. On quite a few ships actually, training and such, getting pilots carrier qualed. That could be exhilarating sometimes! But spent a few weeks on the Tripoli. A shakedown cruise I believe. A lot of newbies.
