Good Afternoon everyone, I am a new member on here and I have an 86 F250HD, 2wd, standard cab long bed with a 351 HO, T-18, Sterling 10.25 with 4.10 gears. It's been a work in progress that I drive every once in a while. I eventually would like to install bull nose Bronco captains chairs with a center console, hoping going the route of using the obs seat pan. I eventually will need to get a new bed since the original one is on it's last legs. This is my first bull nose and I like it. It's a good balance of old and new, old being it's carbureted and a 4 speed, new in a sense because it's got alot more in interchangabilty with the newer trucks to have some convenient things (40/20/40 seats for cupholders and power drivers seat etc.). The 1 thing I wish it had was factory a/c. Have a great weekend and thank you Gary for allowing me to be a member on this website

Welcome, Erik!  Glad you joined.

Where's home?  I ask because we have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and can add you with a city/state or zip.

On the seat, the pans are hard to find and expensive.  And they don't really position the seat properly in my experience.  But I think there's a better/cheaper way, as explained in Big Blue's Seat Platform thread.  I'm not done, and not even really and truly started, but I'm going to work on it after the overlanding trip next week, and will update that thread.

Gary, home for me is Georgetown, De. I will have to check out that forum and do some research so when I can, I'll have a good direction on how to do it

Lower, slower, DE!  (Used to live just across the line, the curved line, near Kennett Square and Hockessin.)

You are now on the map.  And you aren't too far from Bill/85lebaront2.

I know where that's at, I used to haul straw bales up to the mushroom farms in Hockessin and Avondale, PA, right off Rt7 and Rt41

On HW 7 headed north, 50' after you crossed the state line you came to the light on Southwood Road.  Hang a left there and then right on Buttonwood in 1/2 mile and you were at our house - #426.  Unfortunately my Super Bee in the garage only had a 383.

That's not too far from where I hauled the straw bales to. As soon as I went under the overpass for 41, I'd go around a blind curve and made the very next right. I forget the name of the road, but I know the road had an S-curve and had a steep downhill grade to a 4way stop. Make a right and it was the first place on the right. I believe the name of the place was Stinson Farms

According to Google it is 3 miles.  Small world.
