New member 86 F150 XLT AOD

Hello All, Glad to be here with the new to me '86 F150 XLT. Picked it up a week ago to fill a need. Wanted an 80's truck! a Keeper! It has new paint and everything else is very original. I'd be surprized if all the hoses were'nt put on at the factory. It will give me plenty enough time to get aquainted with it. The odometer say 65K so i downloaded a DMV record of its history and best I can tell its accurate. So far i see the tank selector switch doesnt work, Temp gage doesnt move and looks like a valve cover leak. It's a great way for me to get back into wrenching, repair and have confidence in the truck. Sold pickups were: 2017 F350 4x4 Supercab diesel. pulled a fifth wheel camper to fill a want for my awesome wife to go east and west across the states. Man I miss that Truck! We got our fill and needed to move on to other things. 2010 F150 Supercab 4x4 5.4L. pulled a camper for mostly local camping.

Nice looking truck.  Wow, it really looks clean!  I think that will be an excellent way to get back into wrenching.
