New guy from NE AZ

AzF250
Hello

Wayne here
Just found this forum by accident while looking for some info on a 460 i just got. Had alot of idis and other diesels.
I had a 86 f250 4x4 ex cab idi 4speed  in high school  and have missed it ever since i was forced to get rid of it. I found one nearly identical but its 460 not idi.

So hello everyone thats the short story. Haha.

Hello, Wayne.  Glad you joined.

Tell us more about "NE AZ"?  We have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu) and we can add you if we had a city or zip.

And tell us more about your truck, inc some pics.  Also, how 'bout creating a signature with your name and details about your truck?  That way we can call you by name and not have to guess when answering questions.  How to post pics and create a sig is explained in Bullnose Forum/Forum FAQ's.

Hello,
Show low is close to me we live out in the sticks east of there.

Its an 86 f250 xlt 460 4speed. Aside from the PO using a hammer and coldchisel to remove the ignition tumbler and headlight switch its in pretty good shape for its age.  Like to make it a diesel someday.  Any how aside from looking for a column and a dash im just going to clean it up fix the rust and enjoy it. As i said i really missed my 86 from highshool this is the closest ive found to another one.

You are now on the map - east of Show Low.

Truck looks good, but that tire is low.

Welcome aboard. I love seeing that Arizona sheet metal. It is dreamy for us that live in the lands of rust.

Its not completely rust free somone had plastic flares that rotted the fender lips out on the bed and front fenders. Only mild surface rust found so far otherwise.

Yes 3 of the 4 tires are low its had been sitting a while when i took that. Its the only one i have right now though.
