I have a 1985 F150 4x4, LWB, 351 4V HO, C6 auto.  Approximately 83,000 miles.  All original, unmolested engine (still has the smog gear intact), and the interior is like new except for no headliner).  It has some pin holes above both rear wheels.  The plan is to restore it upon my retirement in a couple of months from now.  I’ve been checking out this forum for a little while now and am honored to be accepted as a member.  Thank you!  Karl

Welcome, Karl! Your truck has the same drivetrain as mine. I might add, it also has the rust in the same area as mine did. You might want to check the drip rails too, as those are prone to problems as well. Are you the original owner? Congrats on your retirement!
