My name is Jeremy and I recently got a 1986 F250 XLT Lariat, Supercab, 4x4, Manual, 460. I know next to nothing about working on cars/trucks, but have always wanted to learn, so that's what I'm hoping to accomplish with this truck.

 We have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member's Map in the menu), so would you like to be on it? As for the truck, it sure looks straight. And clean. I like it.

 At times I am jealous of the manual tranny though.

I used to think a manual would help rein in the thirst of the 460. Nope. Got it up to 11.6 when I met you last week. Took it easy and didn't even use the speed control - and it was working at the time.

It sure looks good compared to the 9 I got with the C6+OD
 Hopefully we aren't scaring you too much Jeremy although it might be worth signing up for a gas station benefits card

Welcome! And being this is your learning truck and it is so nice, be careful not to fix on it til it won't run.
 I've been there before. It sucks.
