Hi everyone!!

A longtime lurker here ... Gary's Garage Mahal and all its great forum discussions have empowered me with much needed knowledge and know-how to rescue a couple (previously owned) bullnose trucks from barns. These trucks found good owners for the ones that became daily drivers or found project owners who could take them to the next step before they became daily drivers. Most (if not all) of my past rescues were sitting trucks bought for drivetrain parts (For swaps) and later became daily drivers as I decided that was the best outcome.

Currently have the following bullnoses, each with a small introduction

- My "Big blue" - 1984 F350 RWD 460/C6- this was bought from another car guy who was leaving the state and sold it to me because he knew I would take good care! Has ran non-stop from 1984, never sat much. Just a good dependable work-truck, non-factory air. Hope to have vintage air one day.
- "Bonded Bronco" -1985 Bronco - 302 4-speed fuel injected, this one is still in hibernation, once the title clears (its bonded currently) I will put time, money and effort to restoring it. Was acquired a couple ago, for parts but realized it was worth being rescued. 130K original miles.
- "Parts" truck - 1986 F250 RWD 460/C6, bought at auction with front-end frame damage, fine truck, frame is fixable by a body shop but it is the engine donor for my 1978 Bronco that has been desperate for one. I hope I will use the cab/title for a future project or sell it to someone.
- past trucks - 1985 F250 "Big red" 4x4, 1984 1/2 ton, 1984 Bronco, 1980 1/2 ton, 1985 Bronco
Vivek

- 'Big Blue 2WD' - 1984 F350 RWD 460/C6
- 1978 Bronco with the heart of a 1986 F250 Bullnose - under restoration
- "Bonded Bronco" -1985 Bronco - 302 4-speed fuel injected, Hibernating future project

Welcome!  Glad you joined!

That is quite a stable. What are your plans longer term - to keep rescuing Bullnose trucks?  That’s a noble cause.

Where’s home?  I ask because we have a map (Bullnose Forum/Member’s Map in the menu) and we can add you with a city/state or zip.

I live on a 1/4 acre in Dallas TX area and my parts trucks ended up being rescued out of necessity as Mrs. did not allow for them to be stored indefinitely, had to become drivable to be moved around due to our parking situation.. and when they did, I did not want to use them for parts anymore... one day when I live on acreage, they are more likely to sit longer at least :) :)

I’ll try to remember to do it this evening. We are trying out the new seats in Big Blue today, and doing the map is lots easier with my tablet than my phone.

Appreciate it. I sent an email a couple of days ago, not sure if it came through, but if it did, I apologize for the nudge here today.
