Hey all. Joined in 2018 after finding 1980 Flareside in a pasture. I’ve been lurking, reading, learning and admiring the trucks and really enjoying the projects section. I was raised on Ford’s and had several trucks in my early years with a BN F-250 in 83’. Always wanted a 4x4 FS.
This truck is in a unbelievable condition with no deep rust
 (very little surface rust) anywhere. No big dents ( not even hail sitting a TX pasture for 10 years) and all glass intact not even a rock chip. Not running but engine turns over with good battery. It was used by a dairy to haul round bales for its last operating years and parked with 22 other vehicles. They were on CL and no one took the Ford with the bale spike in the back.
I have started pulling it apart and will start a project page in the near future.

In previous years owned a couple of 75’ 76’ F100 460 trucks and a 83’ F250 82’. 63’. Galaxie 500. 73’ mustang. 74’75’ LTD 2dr. |

Hello, Steve! Glad you finally came out of hiding.
 That will be a cool truck. I'm looking forward to following the work to get it on the road. And, by the way, you are now on the map.
