Is the Bronco suspension the same as the F-150 HD suspension?

Littlebeefy
I'm about to order hard to find parts from the west coast, so I want to be certain. Can someone confirm that the quad front damper setup in the Bronco is not the same as the HD suspension option on the F-150s?

That is, you could get quad dampers on the front of an F-150 (same as the Bronco), but the HD suspension on the F150 was an option beyond that and came with other stuff like a beefier frame. Correct?

Chad - I think the answer is "yes".  You can see the frame bit by going to 1984 Light Truck Data Book in our library, and then going to the Frame - Suspension - Steering section.  In it you'll see that there's a footnote "3" that is "w/H.D. Front Suspension. (Limited Prod. Opt.)"  And its frame is a bit beefier.

Then you can scroll down and find the quad shocks on both the Bronco and the F-series trucks.

Does that help?
