Welcome!  Tell us where you are?  I think it is AZ, right?  Jonathan's there as well.  And, by the way, that's his truck, in Death Valley, in the pic above.

Also, you are officially the 100th member!  (Yes, if you were to look it would show 101, but I have a "Test User" account as well as Gary Lewis.)

Yes, I'm in AZ. A little town west of Phx called Tonopah. Which is not the one in Nevada :)

My truck is running pretty well lately. I plan to do at least a couple things this year:

Move down from 33" MT tires to 31" AT tires. My axle is 3.08 and 55 mph is around 1800 rpm now. 75 mph at 2500. Going to 31s should slide that up into the power band a bit better.

Replace the missing rear fuel tank, but I'll start a new thread on that when I'm ready. I've got some ideas and questions on that one.

Oh, and cool that I'm number 100 :)

Welcome to the forum. I seem to remember you from the other forum... did you used to live in Baghdad? I'm a couple hours north of you in Cottonwood. I've got a straight six truck with 3.00 gears and 235/85R16 tires (31.72") and I like the results. I did not notice a huge difference from the 31x10.5's that came off except it's taller to get in and the narrower tires handle a little better. I am wishing I had done the 38 gallon Spectra tank, and may still upgrade to it in the future...

Hi,

No I've never lived in Bagdad but I have been there several times.

I need to stick with flotation tires since I use this truck out in the desert. The PO lifted it and put the 33s on, even though it is a 2wd truck. I've never gotten stuck in it out there, either.
