Hello All

First forum.  Thank you for letting me join.  I am in the process of trying to get a 1985 F250 back on the road that has been siting for nearly 20 years.  It originally had a 6.9 diesel with a 4 speed that were removed long ago.  I have a 460 and a C6 to go in their place.  Being a part of a forum like this could be useful as I go through this process.  Thanks again for letting me join.

Don't worry, we aren't formal at all, so other than the guidelines on how to treat people we aren't hung up on things.

Big Blue is/was an '85 F250 w/a 460, so we might have a bit in common.

going from an idi to a gas with an auto should be a very simple job. notice that i did not say easy. there are many steps and who knows how many rusty bolts you will encounter. lots of help here and you should only be limited by your own abilities.
