That is a good read.   When I worked for the state motorcycle program, we were constantly dealing with ethanol issues.   We used a product called Pri-G that seemed to work really well, even in old gas.   Diesel version is called Pri-D.  See what they did there?   But I learned even more in that article.   Thanks for sharing.
