Hey gentlemen, told Gary I though we needed a logo and I've been playing around a bit. This is rough and I'm thinking about a couple other changes, but it's a starting point. Let me know what you think? Advice, thoughts, you won't hurt my feelings?

That would be cool to be made into a window sticker for the back window of our trucks

Diamondplate is busy and distracting from the truck.

Also maybe a little less forced perspective?

I'm reading the mail here but don't want to comment too much as I'd like to see what others think.

Having said that, if I had it to do over again I'd have used some other name for the website besides garysgaragemahal.  I now find that ... arrogant.  Ostentatious.  Etc.  But here we are and while I do have some other URL's "rented", I'm not sure we should change due to all the bookmarks out there.  On the other hand, there are redirects.....

Anyway, I'd like to see whatever we do take the emphasis off of "Gary".

Good work and idea! I personally do not care for the bull nose with ring.

Thanks for your efforts!

Should we go with the Bullnosebible URL instead?

John, I didn't mean to diminish your efforts at all.
You asked for critique.
Every design and corporate identity class I've ever taken has focused on simple iconography that is instantly recognizable.

John, I like the one with the copper boarder the best. Just a sugestion, change the "Bullnose Ford" under the bumper to "80 thru 86". That way Bullnose is not on there twice. Just a thought.

No problem, Jim. As I said, I want your thoughts. This is a group effort!

Steve, definitely want to add the 80-86 as you suggested. I put the bullnose image in as it is so associated to our website. No trouble loosing it if the consensus is as such.

Gary, I know where you're coming from and get it. Still, it's the link to our forum and I'm thinking we'll have to go with it. We can always change it at a later date.

On the URL, I think we may be on the cusp of changing to the new website, meaning not running on the Nabble servers.  Let me think through what all is involved in that and whether it is a good time to change to another URL.

John, I ment the one under the bumper, not the one in the license plate holder.

Nice work John!

Some good discussion here

Not really the direction you're going but when that thread was active, I was tempted to merged these two - make the red the nose and the blue contain the name/URL. I have no Photoshop skills so never happened

For some reason ratdude's image isn't working for me but referring to the black/while grill on page 3 of that thread. Will try to fix it later when on my PC.

Scott, I never saw that thread until last night. Angelo did an awesome job with that too. Strange that it came up with such enthusiasm and then just dropped off the forum. Hope not to be stepping on anyone's toes in this.

I don't think so at all!
I am glad you brought it up again as I enjoy seeing the designs. It's a fun but tough project - so many different options, ideas, and preferences making it tough to choose just one .

Clay I like them much more than the forshortned version above.
The question of hood letters or grille emblem is sticky though...

If the grilles and hood letters are an issue just have two versions.
