For those looking for Wimbledon White paint match & steel wheel resto

$4 / can on the shelf at Menards.  Rustoleum Canvas White.  This is a really, really good match.  I have a set of WW wheels with original paint and this matched well as you can see.  The first photo shows a tape line revealing the new paint with the old original paint.  They also sell this at Menards for $9 / quart.

Wish my truck was still Wimbledon White, this would make a good touch up spray for my ratty old truck.

Thank you very much for this! I have really grown fond of the Wimbledon white on my ‘81 and was hoping there might be something close that was available off the shelf (in an aerosol) besides the tiny little expensive cans of color match. This will save me the trial and error...

Now over $9/can at Menards...

I got a wheel for $10 on Craigslist and it looked like this.

80 minutes later after some wire wheeling, hand sanding and 2 coats of paint.

Wire wheel, 120, 220.  Blow out dust, wipe down with mineral spirits.  Sprayed directly over this....2 coats covered well.

I did the same thing but painted a primer on mine before the paint. I also added an automotive clear coat.

66gtk, by any chance do you know the name of the color blue your short box has on it? Is it the factory blue repainted?
