This seller is notoriously high on price, and there's no way I would pay that much for a bare aluminum casting with no bushings, pedals, levers, etc.

Didn't somebody mention recently that these aluminum castings were all the same (or at least interchangeable) from 1980-1986, it's just that the pedals and shafts changed (ie: the steel parts).

Is that correct?

They must not have considered the change(s) to be worth mentioning.
The lack of holes for the clutch safety switch/speed control switch are one difference and while I was looking at them upside down it appeared the webbing in the area of the holes is different. Again, it's not stopping anyone from swapping them, just pointing it out.
