Chrome arch Trim

Matt Wood
This post was updated on .
Hi all! Hope you all had a nice Christmas and a happy new year!

Its been a while but im back on the restoration train on my bronco!

Long story short I want to replace my chrome trim that sits on the lip of the arches.

What is the difference between each side? Or front and back? Could i get 2 left rears and put one on the rear right? Or are they different shapes? I understand they have different part numbers but from a manufacturing perspective I'd think it would have been easier to produce the same part and give it 2 different numbers?

Any input would be great!

Thanks

Matt

Yes, as Matt said they are location-specific.  I really like the looks of them, but good ones are hard to find from what I've seen.

Wow thanks everyone!

I actually was able to find them all NOS on ebay and have purchased them all!

I also found the ones you linked and am now the owner of them 😂

Fingers crossed they all come in good condition!

Sorry Gary! Looks like I beat you to it! I had those in my basket before I made the post 😂

The lower one of the two looks a little squashed but only time will tell.

They're going to my uncles place in CT as I wouldn't dare send such rare items via the post man 😂

I'll be heading over later in the year to collect!

David, having looked at the ebay link closely i don't think it is for a bullnose! I think its for a brick or aero.... it doesn't have the concave shape id expect from the 80 - 86 ones and the part number is different!

Just a thought in case anyone stumbles across this thread

I need to replace one of mine, front left I think. NPD and LMC sell these, wondering if the quality is worth the $32 asking price. Anyone go with these aftermarket things?

i have used them. the ones from npd. they look very good. fit fairly well. if anything, they seem to be a bit long. and the edges are sharp. handle with care.
