I have a Borgeson steering shaft on Big Blue, but I don't know what model it is.  The thing was mounted when I got the truck.  Works fine.

I put a 980 in my Bronco.

What would you like to know?

Oh, it is great. Well made, easy to install. No rag joint so feels less sloppy. But now my steering box is the weak link and needs replacing.

Would buy again.

Hope that helps.

I recently welded a 2007-14 F-Series steering shaft in place of my rag joint shaft.

Length was good, but I would swap ends if I had it to again.
That would make the sector box pinch action easier.

So, for $20 and an hours time I have a 8L1Z-3B676-A shamrock profile shaft with U-joints on each end.

Gary said it looks very similar to his Borgenson  shaft.

I see them trending for $35 on eBay now, but I took I great deal when I saw it July 16th.

I have the Borgeson shaft on my Bronco.  Install was easy, directions kind of suck but there are YouTube videos.  Also, the surface rusts really quickly.  I would suggest painting/coating it before install if you don't want it to look old 2 weeks after install (like mine did).
