9" Pinion deflector

Hi guys,

This is a bit of an esoteric question and I may be operating on the fringe of relevant knowledge here, so I understand if I don't get a response, but I figured I'd try.

On my 9" I swapped out the yoke for a Strange chromoly 1350 (spendy, but the strength and tolerances on this thing are phenomenal). Only problem was it didn't come with a deflector (I've also heard them called dust shields or other inaccurate names). The diameter of the Strange yoke is 1.8125" and the stock deflectors (D2SZ/E6TZ 4859-A) aren't the right ID.

Does anyone know where I can get a deflector with a 1.8125 ID that will work on my 9"? I know I can run without it but I happen to have the chunk apart and now would be the ideal time to install one if I could find the stupid little $5 part.

Chad - I assume you know that the D2 is steel and the E6 is plastic?

Oddly enough, in checking the MPC for E6TZ 4859-A I found this: Deflector (driving pinion oil seal) “Before 9/87”—1983/88—not required.

I also found this, but it doesn't look like it'll help:
